One of my drawings has been published in Drawing Paper 5. Look out for it if you’re in Liverpool, it’s a free publication you can pick up form galleries, studios and cafe’s around there. I should have a few copies in Southend as well so pop into TAP if you would like to pick one up. You can see an online version here Mike and Jon who are the artists behind Drawing Paper have been nominated for the Liverpool art prize this year which is being hosted at Metal’s Edge Hill Station. They will be in residence there until 9th June, see www.liverpoolartprize.com for details.

Chris Lang’s exhibition at TAP in May. He was a huge influence to me. Joe and I are going to show as much of his life’s work as we are able to. It should be a huge insight into one of Southend’s greatest (unsung) artists.

STRUCTURE, featuring Alison Hand, John Wallbank, Lyndsey Searle and Ross Walker is opening on Saturday (24th March 2012, 7-9pm). I’m really excited about this show, but also sad because this will be my last exhibition at TAP as Curator here. The artists are installing their work right now and it’s looking really good!
