Japan
I am just about to set off to Japan on a 1 month residency/research trip, with the intention of gaining an insight into Japanese Carpentry, Visual Art and Architecture. After my degree show at Slade I was very fortunate to receive a Boise Travel Scholarship which has made this amazing experience possible. I will be spending a few weeks with Kurokawa Sensei and the Sculpture Department at Musashino Art University in Tokyo before travelling around to visit other things in different parts of the country.
If you are interested in following what’s happening I will be mainly uploading images on Instagram (@jonkipps) and will also be posting on twitter (@jonkipps) and my Facebook artist page (Jonathan Kipps Artworks).
See you in December!
